Lantaw is a floating restaurant offering native Filipino cuisine. This is the restaurant for people who are not only after the food but also for the view and atmosphere of the place. It’s best to visit the place during sunset so you could witness the sun as it sets. Flocks of flying birds can also be seen from the restaurant. At night time, you can also view the lights from the city.
Their service is good and their staff is friendly. They courteously greet guests who have just arrived and they provide umbrellas if it’s quite sunny or if it’s raining.
Lantaw Floating Native Restaurant accepts both walk-in customers and reservations.
Ride any jeepney going to Lapu-lapu. Then, stop at the first traffic light that you’ll see after crossing the Old Mactan Bridge. This is where you can see jeepneys headed to Cordova. Or simply, just inform the driver to drop you in a place where there are jeepneys going to Cordova.
From there, inform the driver to drop you off at Barangay Day-as. Upon reaching the place, ride a pedicab and tell the driver to bring you to Day-as Wharf or to Lantaw Floating Restaurant.

Here are what I’ve ordered:
The food offered by this restaurant is good and is almost the same as the other restaurants in the Philippines. The things that make Lantaw more special than the other Filipino restaurants are its location and ambience.
